Walking downtown with $500 cash in my pocket is a bit nerve-racking. Everyone’s a thief.
A nice elderly woman could be walking twenty feet from me, but her beady little eyes give away her intentions. She just wants my money. Family are no better. Everyone wants money.
Man, I hate carrying cash. Anything more than $100 and my nerves shoot up. But there’s a bit of joy, I suppose. Depositing the money in my checking account and watching the balance go up (granted, it’ll be down again tomorrow). Finally having the relief of selling my old iBook G3 for an… overpriced amount. I’m quite surprised someone paid it. And with that money, finally paying off my loan for my [now defunct] iBook G4 (post forthcoming). Though, of course, I’ll need to take out a new loan to buy a new laptop (Merry Christmas to me).
So, overall, it was a good experience. Craig’s List worked amazingly and I’ll be using it to sell other things.
But this post wasn’t worthwhile. And I have one more thing to say. A lot happened today and is happening tomorrow. Three new posts are coming. Stay tuned.
